From St. Gallen to Vietnam
The St. Gallen (Switzerland)-based logistics company Militzer & Münch has founded a new subsidiary in Vietnam, adding the fifth country to its network in Asia, after China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
M&M Vietnam is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, a major transport hub for Southeast Asia. The national branch will mainly focus on sea and air transport and benefit from its central location on the continent.
"Within a few years, Vietnam has developed from one of the poorest nations in the world to a middle-income country," Andreas Löwenstein, regional managing director Asia / Far East at Militzer & Münch. "We therefore see good opportunities for a successful development and are strengthening our network the region." (mk)
