From Moscow to ‘friends’ and vice-versa
Alexey Isaikin (left), chairman of the board of directors of the Volga-Dnepr Group, and Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a cooperation agreement to ensure the stable, expeditious, regular and reliable provision of Russia's central transport hub with essential goods and supplies, including medicines, consumables, food, information technology and communications products, consumer goods as well as equipment and components for Moscow enterprises.
The carrier will operate scheduled air cargo shipments between Moscow and other cities and foreign countries, including China, India, Turkey, UAE, Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Vietnam.
The order's will be worth about EUR 104 million. About 20,000 t of cargo is planned to be delivered by the Volga-Dnepr Group to Moscow this year. (ah)
