From MediaMarkt to Competec
The Competec Group has appointed Stefan Fraude as CEO. He replaces Martin Lorenz, who had led the retail group since 2018.
Fraude’s most recent position was CEO of MediaMarkt Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked for Digitec Galaxus for seven years, where he built up and managed the marketplace and then headed up the company’s international category management.
Fraude has also been co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of the B2B learning platform MaxBrain since 2016.
