From LAX on PAX and freighter flights to Mexico
The Calgary-based Canadian carrier Westjet Cargo has appointed Awesome Cargo as GSA for its commercial business out of Los Angeles (LAX). The US GSA sales entity of the Mexican company Aerocharter GSA will market cargo capacities on the airline’s flights operating from the USA to Canada and Mexico. Commodities exported from the USA primarily involve perishables, general cargo and high value products.
Westjet Cargo operates daily passenger flights out of LAX to its home base and Vancouver, almost daily services to Edmonton and Toronto, and serves Winnipeg two to four times per week.
Every PAX flight offers a cargo capacity of up to 2 t. Its freighter services (20 t of cargo uplift) currently connect LAX with Guadalajara on days 1, 2, and 6, and fly between LAX and Calgary on days 2, 3, and 5. (ah)
