From DB Schenker to Dachser
Peter Deutschbauer has been overseeing the air and sea freight business unit of Dachser Austria and the Eastern Europe region since 1 September 2023. His task will be to position this business unit for the future.
Deutschbauer replaces Michael Rainer, longstanding managing director of Dachser Air & Sea Eastern Europe and Austria, who left the company on 30 September 2023.
Deutschbauer was most recently responsible for the Southeast Europe region at DB Schenker in the role of head of ocean freight import. Born in Linz, he has many years of expertise and an in-depth knowledge of the logistics industry. Deutschbauer has worked for Kühne & Nagel, Panalpina and Cargo-Partner, holding various management positions in the ocean freight and sales & marketing business in Central and Eastern Europe. (cj)
