From China to Uzbekistan in nine days
The Kazakhistan multimodal operator KTZ Express (KTZE) recently organised the shipment of a train on the China-Uzbekistan route with a full range of services, from loading and processing cargo to providing its own containers and using the terminal belonging to the KTZ group. 50 forty-foot containers of KTZE were sent from Yiwu Xi in China.
The train, loaded with consumer goods, proceeded through the Alashankou border in the Chinese Uyghur autonomous region crossing point, then through the Dostyk (Kazakhstan), the Sary-Agach (Kazakhstan) - Keles (Uzbekistan) and Sergeli (Uzbekistan) junctions. The train covered the route from China via Kazakhstan to Tashkent in Uzbekistan in nine days, KTZE said. (ben)
