From Canada to Florida
The Rhode Island-based Arpin International Group, a global removal and storage company, has purchased Stephens Moving Services of Cape Coral, Florida. Stephens specialises in servicing USA/Canada cross-border moves for private residential customers.
The Arpin family originally started its moving business in Drummondville, Quebec, back in 1900 before immigrating to the United States. In 1992, the company began to offer its customers United States/Canada cross-border services, as well as removals within the Canadian provinces. The price of the transaction was not disclosed.
Tom Stephens, president of Stephens Moving Services, commented: "“After more than 45 years servicing United States/Canada cross-border relocations, I cannot think of a better partnership for our clients and customers than Arpin International Group." (sh)
