Frikus: only biofuel from now on
The Styrian transport and logistics company is now refuelling its vehicles in Austria exclusively with HVO100 diesel. The introduction of biodiesel in the Frikus Liquids fleet is a further step for it to minimise its ecological footprint, the freight forwarder said.
The switch to hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) as a fuel started in 2023 and has now been completed. Frikus was founded in 1928 as a pure transport company and is now part of the Lagermax Group. In addition to Austria, the company also has hubs in Hungary, Slovenia and Bulgaria.
Its services include both deliveries from A to B and the development and implementation of customised logistics solutions. (ben)
