Friderici buys maintenance specialist
Friderici Spécial, a Swiss family-run company operating in the transport sector since the end of the 19th century, has made a technical acquisition.
Gattoni Maintenance, active in Valais since 1964 and domiciled in Monthey since 1982, has joined the group with its workshop services, including electronic and mechanical maintenance and repair, welding and painting work, etc. It is also an Iveco partner.
Friderici, which in addition to conventional transports, also handles large projects in Switzerland and abroad (special transports, lifting, handling, storage, etc.), has had its own repair workshop for all vehicle types since 2003 and has been a partner of Renault Trucks since 2013.
Roland Gattoni, who has managed his company for almost 60 years, is going into well-earned retirement with the sale. The two technical units will be managed by Frédéric Schneider, who has been director of Friderich Services since 1 December 2022. (cd)
