Fraport extends CEO contract
On 15 September 2023, Fraport’s supervisory board extended Stefan Schulte’s mandate as CEO of Fraport for another three years. Schulte’s contract will therefore continue from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2027.
Schulte, a banker with a doctorate in business administration, began his career at Fraport as the company’s chief financial officer. In addition to the role as CFO, he was appointed deputy chairman in April 2007. He has served as Fraport’s CEO since September 2009.
“Schulte has forged a sustainable strategy, transforming Fraport into one of the world’s major international airport operators. Fraport is successful and heading in the right direction,” said Michael Boddenberg, finance minister of the state of Hesse and chairman of Fraport’s supervisory board. (cj)
