France Logistique appoints managing director
France Logistique has appointed Maxime Forest as managing director. He is a qualified engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech, with a specialisation in industrial engineering. Forest began his career in the transport sector in 2009, in international rail operations.
He then spent ten years working in the telecoms sector and digital regional planning. In particular, he was deputy director at Arcep, France’s regulator for electronic communications, postal and print media distribution, and took part in the sector's major transformation projects, such as financing very high-speed broadband, improving mobile coverage of the territory, generalising roaming in Europe, and launching 5G.
Since 2021, recruited by the Inspectorate General of Finance (IGF), Forest has led advisory and evaluation missions for members of the government. (cj)
