Forging a French partnership
MTA Group is taking over domestic shipments of palletised orders for two French distributors of packaging materials, aiming to enhance services and environmental performance. Raja and Cenpac recently signed an agreement with the group for an initial period of three years to this effect.
Palletised deliveries make up a large chunk of both companies’ operations, and by using a single carrier, they can improve consolidation and efficiency. Orders will be prepared at the logistics centres Paris-Nord 2 (Seine-Saint-Denis), Châtres (Seine-et-Marne) and Sorgues (Vaucluse).
With MTA’s real-time tracking software, Raja and Cenpac will be able to keep their customers informed on the status of their deliveries.
As a long-standing partner of both packaging companies, MTA will seek to support them in cutting delivery emissions and thus reducing their transport-related carbon footprint. (mk)
