For more capacity on the Ivory Coast
Ceva Logistics has acquired two fish loaders imported from Spain for deployment at the port in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, The new units enable the company to offer an end-to-end solution for frozen tuna exports from the West African country. These exports are set to exceed 150,000 t by 2023.
Ceva Logistics in Ivory Coast has long been established in the fish loading business and will use the new equipment to further expand its capabilities, which also include stuffing, handling and managing all customs formalities. The fish loaders replace rented equipment that was not solely dedicated to Ceva.
Exports destined for key markets, such as Spain and Ecuador, can now be delivered by shipping companies such as Grupo Albacora with improved efficiency and quality. (sh)
