The freight forwarder Gustav Mäuler, based in Remscheid, Germany, has doubled the palletised general cargo volumes on its routes to and from France.
The owner-managed company, which specialises in transport, warehousing, contract and chemical logistics, has been connected to Palet System, the French distribution network operated by Astre, since the early 2000s.
Since then, Mäuler's volumes of palletised general cargo consignments in the French trade have doubled and the total turnover of all French transports has increased by 30%.
In addition, as a system partner of the CTL general cargo cooperation and the Log Coop logistics cooperation, Mäuler has expanded its hub in Remscheid to become the gateway to France for consignments from the CTL network and the Log Coop partner companies as well. (sh)
