For a big site in Sheffield
It is already the second project. Glencar, a UK construction company, is to build a 34,000 sqm logistics facility at TCC’s Shepcote Lane Site in Sheffield on behalf of the major developer and investor in commercial real estate Trammell Crow Company (TCC). It will be a steel multi-span portal frame with a height to the underside of the haunch of 18 m.
The project also includes site access improvements, estate roads, an 83 m deep service yard with HGV & trailer parking, car parks, motorcycle and cycle parking, landscaping, security fencing, a gatehouse and automatic access barriers.
The site is located in an established industrial area only 800 m on a direct route from Junction 34 of the M1 motorway. Tenants such as Clipper Logistics, Pretty Little Thing, ITM and Great Bear have recently taken space nearby. (sh)
