FMH Group joins Australia's top five
The Australian haulier Border Express has changed hands: FMH Group has acquired the company that owns a network of 18 facilities, a fleet of more than 700 vehicles and a team of 1,700 employees and contractors. Its over 1,800 customers come from a large scale of industries, including retail and consumer brands. FMH will also merge with the sister company, Couriers Please.
The transactions will increase the group’s revenue to over an estimated AUD 1.3 billion (EUR 0.78 billion) and lift the logistics holding company to one of the top five largest logistics companies by revenue in Australia. Border Express and Couriers Please will retain their own brand identities and employees under the FMH Group. (ben)
