Florian Pfaff moves to Asia
Florian Pfaff, currently vice president Germany, will move to Asia on 1 June 2019 to become Lufthansa Cargo's vice president Asia Pacific based in Singapore. He will continue to report directly to Dorothea von Boxberg, head of production and sales.
Economist Pfaff started his career at Lufthansa Cargo in 1989. In 1994, he was appointed head of sales and marketing in Germany. As from 2000 Pfaff worked from Los Angeles (USA) and was responsible for various sales regions on the American continent. In January 2005, he was named vice president global account management. In 2006, he took charge of sales and handling in more than 90 European and African countries. Since May 2011 he has been head of sales in Germany.
Pfaff‘s predecessor in Singapore, Frank Naeve, was named the Lufthansa group’s vice president airline sales for the Americas. He will take over his new position, which will be based in New York, during the month of April 2019. (mw)
