Five trucks as a birthday present
H.F. Owen Transport & Storage, which is headquartered in North Wales (UK), is celebrating 50 years in the business with the delivery of five new DAF XF 530 FTG 6×2 tractor units from Hexagon.
One of the trucks has been wrapped in celebratory gold livery to mark the milestone and all have been supplied on a three-year lease.
H.F. Owen was originally set up in 1972 making brick and milk collections and deliveries. Two years ago, the company was bought by North Wales logistics firm Delivery Solutions (Delsol) but has continued to trade under the H.F. Owen name. Today, it offers flexible haulage, warehousing and distribution services, operates a fleet of twelve vehicles and has a workforce of 15. (ben)
