Fitting out in west Dublin

Glencar has built a hub in west Dublin for PRL Logistics, a transport company based in the UK and Ireland. The roughly 22,000 sqm site has been designed as a warehousing space and also includes a three-storey office complex.

The 24 weeks’ development involved a full fit-out with racking, sprinklers, lighting, M&E installations and other works. New welfare areas were added to the offices. All in all, the warehouse is carbon-neutral, enabling PRL to cut down on its GHG emissions while continuing to offer its logistics, sales and marketing services.

The site is located at Baldonell’s Aerodrome Business Park, in reach of other PRL hubs, and fits nicely into the company’s network. By extending its warehouse infrastructure to around 93,000 sqm, PRL expects to drive its growth in the local logistics market while reaching its goals to reduce carbon emissions in its operations.
