First six HVO 100 stations in operation
UTA Edenred is now offering its customers HVO 100 as an additional type of alternative fuel: the eco-friendly synthetic diesel fuel is already available at six UTA acceptance points in Germany, with more stations to follow.
UTA customers can currently obtain HVO 100 at three Zieglmeier stations in the Ingolstadt area, at two Wirtz petrol stations in the Ruhr region and at a sixth station on the A40 motorway near Venlo on the German-Dutch border, the company says.
HVO 100 is a biofuel made from hydrogenated vegetable oil produced from waste from the food industry and agriculture. It thus provides a climate-friendly fuel for the operation of vehicles with internal combustion engines. (ben)
