First owner for new truck model
The first DAF LF with the brand-new Paccar driveline has been delivered to Farnborough Van & Truck Hire (FVTH) in UK. The vehicle has up to 7% higher fuel efficiency. Part of the new DAF model is the new 8-speed, fully automatic Power Line transmission. Powershifting without any torque interruption enables smooth shifts and quick throttle response.
FVTH started the rental business in 1985 and the company has grown steadily since then. Today, FVTH owns a fleet of over 600 trucks and offers a UK-wide vehicle rental service with a Heathrow depot providing a vehicle drop-off and collection facility at London’s Heathrow Airport.
