First logisticians to test eActros 600s at work
The first two test vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 for long-distance haulage will go to Contargo and Remondis, Daimler said.
Contargo will use its e-truck for several months for the transport of containers between the port of Wörth am Rhein and various loading and unloading points in Germany. The vehicle will cover more than 800 km a day.
Remondis will test the vehicle in Cologne (Germany) as part of the Hola-project for the construction and operation of a high-performance charging infrastructure for battery-electric long-haul transport. The vehicle will be primarily deployed to transport recycled raw materials. (ben)
