First LNG stations in Germany
Rolande is expanding its LNG network in Lübeck. The 24/7 self-service fuelling facility is situated at the IDS-Q8 station on the A1 motorway and is the first LNG station in Germany to be opened in cooperation with the European fuel card provider and fuel producer IDS.
With two LNG pumps, the new station can serve up to 150 vehicles per day. With its wide entry and exit roads, the station offers easy access for heavy duty vehicles.
The partnership also operates an LNG fuelling station in Rotterdam, Botlek (the Netherlands), and Rolande and IDS plan to open two more stations (Grasdorf and Ziesar) in Germany this year. (ben)
