First flights for newcomer from Malta
Airhub Airlines has inducted a A330 into the fleet, bearing the Maltese registration 9H-AHQ. The addition of a new aircraft type aims to strengthen the competitive position of Airhub Airlines in the Acmi and charter market, complementing its product and services.
The A330 is in "Zero Lopa" configuration, supplementing the carrier's cargo fleet. It bears a maximum volume of 256 cbm and a payload of 50 t, respectively.
Almost two months ago, Airhub Airlines operated its first commercial flight to USA, on its A340 (photo) bearing the Maltese registration 9H-ZMK. It departed Osaka (Japan) on 17 January 2022, making a stopover in Anchorage (USA), before arriving at Pittsburgh airport (PIT), whose long-term cargo strategy is analysed in today's ITJ 11-12/2022, with further cross continental flights to Vilnius (Lithuania) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).
