First Danish company to receive 24-hour e-trucks

Danfoss is introducing nine fully electric Volvo HGVs for its services in Denmark. The truck manufacturer has already delivered the first three units. With this new equipment, the haulier will be the first company in Denmark to have a 24-hour truck in operation.

When fully implemented, the e-trucks will reduce Danfoss’ scope 1 and 2 emissions in Denmark by 10-15%. The units will operate on fixed routes between Danfoss sites in Denmark, and one of them will operate 24 hours a day, five days per week, without significant charging downtime. All of the nine e-trucks are scheduled to be in operation before 2024. (ben)
