First CNG fuelling station for the port of Le Havre
The port of Le Havre in France wants to be a driving force for a sustainable development of the area between port and the industrial zone. A core element is the creation of an offer for the delivery of alternative fuels.
In cooperation with liquid gas provider Primagaz, the port has now opened the first CNG fuelling station in the centre of the industrial port zone in Gonfreville-L'Orcher.
500 companies are located in Le Havre's industrial and port area. Up to 15,000 heavy duty vehicles travel through the area per day, carrying their share of the 70 million t of goods that are handled by the port every year. (ben)
