First all-electric truck added to fleet
The Swiss transport and logistics company Georges Riederer has put its first all-electric truck into operation, a Renault Trucks ‘E-Tech T4x2’ tractor.
The 40 t truck, which will be deployed throughout Switzerland, has expanded Riederer’s fleet of 82 commercial vehicles. The lorry has a battery output of 540 kWh and a range of 350 km.
Riederer’s portfolio of services includes general cargo transport in Switzerland, part and full loads, pharmaceutical and food services as well as crane work and courier services. The services are supplemented by block/high-bay and multi-storey warehousing solutions. (ben)
