Finnlines reshuffles board of directors
Finnlines’ board of directors has elected Tom Pippingsköld (left) as the company’s new president and CEO. Finnlines’ current president and CEO, Emanuele Grimaldi, will remain in the company as chairman of the board of directors. Thomas Doepel (right), currently COO of Finnlines, has been named vice president and deputy CEO. Both have been members of Finnlines’ executive committee since 2013.
The board of directors has also announced the following appointments to the executive committee: Merja Kallio-Mannila, currently deputy head of group marketing, sales and customer service, Marco Palmu, currently head of passenger services, Mervi Pyökäri, currently head of legal, as well as Torkel Saarnio, currently line manager Hansalink, Rostock and Aarhus transport services and head of the truck and trailer segment.
