Finnlines promotes Suvi Niemivuo
Suvi Niemivuo has been appointed as head of the company’s legal, insurance and claims department, effective 1 October 2023. She will also join the executive committee and report to Tom Pippingsköld, president and CEO of Finnlines.
Niemivuo has been acting head of legal, insurance and claims and a member of Finnlines’ management board since May 2023. Finnlines operates freight and passenger services in the Baltic Sea, the North Sea and the Bay of Biscay. The company is a part of the Grimaldi Group.
This affiliation also enables Finnlines to offer liner services to and from several destinations in the Mediterranean, West Africa, Atlantic coast of both North and South America as well as Asia and Australia. (cj)
