Finland participates in smart logistics project
The Covid 19 crisis has enhanced the need for advanced and agile digitalisation of logistics. Within this goal, the EU project Federated will develop a set of arrangements and technical applications to allow different kind of businesses and public authorities to sustainably share data and improve seamless interoperability. The outcome should be supply chain visibility, optimising asset and capacity utilisation and new services.
“The project supports pilot tests in different EU countries, to demonstrate the concrete applicability of digital cooperation under real conditions,” says Andrea Condotta, responsible for Federated communication and marketing & innovation manager of Codognotto Group.
Finland participates in the Federated project aiming at promoting the concrete development of the corridor as a service concept. It combines intelligent infrastructure and smart logistics to enhance digitalisation and transparency in multimodal logistics. Special focus is also targeted at sustainable logistics and how it can be managed. (mw)
