Fesco's H1/2023 performance
Russia's Fesco Transportation Group recorded significant growth across various sectors in H1/2023. International cargo shipping rose by 30% to 199,000 teu compared to H1/2022. Intermodal transport saw a 25% increase, reaching 306,000 t teu, while coastal shipping surged by 17%, totalling 49,200 teu.
Container handling at the Commercial Port of Vladivostok PJSC (CPV), under Fesco's control, grew by 24% to 430,000 teu.
CPV, a major port in the Russian Far East, handles approximately 12.9 million t of cargo, 2,000 vessels, and 200,000 wagons annually. The increase in throughput is attributed to the expansion of Fesco's intermodal services and its collaboration with Asian sea line operators. (pb)
