Femex to call at Thessaloniki
CMA CGM updating its Femex service by adding Thessaloniki, Greece, to its Southbound rotation. The port will serve as a hub to connect North European cargo bound for Cyprus thanks to its SSL MED Thessaloniki-Limassol service coverage.
The port rotation will be the following: Southampton - Antwerp - Hamburg - Rotterdam - Malta - Thessaloniki - Istanbul Ambarli - Gebze - Gemlik - Aliaga - Tanger Med - Southampton.
SSL MED and Europe Intermodal are joining forces to connect North Europe to Serbia with the Femex service and the block train solution Thessaloniki-Nis.
The first Femex vessel calling Thessaloniki on a direct basis will be “MVCMA CGM Barracuda”, ETD Southampton on 26 November 2022 and ETA Thessaloniki on 15 December 2022. (sh)
