FedEx launches direct Singapore–US freighter service
FedEx has launched its first direct all-cargo flight from Singapore to Anchorage, enhancing transpacific service for Southeast Asia. The Boeing 777F flight operates six times weekly from Changi Airport, offering faster transit times to the US, especially for key sectors like healthcare, aerospace, and semiconductors. A weekly return flight is also in service, with plans to expand.
The new connection positions FedEx as the only logistics provider with a non-stop Singapore–US cargo route and strengthens Singapore’s role as a key logistics hub. FedEx says the new service supports regional exporters with greater speed, efficiency, and global reach. (ah)
