Faster UK-Europe link
P&O Ferries is set to launch a new freight route in the North Sea, connecting London (Tilbury 2) and Rotterdam (Europoort) from early March 2024. This addition complements the shipping company's existing Zeebrugge to London route and strengthens its rail-connected hub in Rotterdam.
According to Peter Hebblethwaite, CEO of P&O Ferries, this new route will enhance the company’s North Sea network, with hubs in Hull, Teesport, Tilbury, Zeebrugge, and Europoort, connecting the Northeast and Southeast of England to the European mainland.
The London-Rotterdam route will offer access to the M25 and terminal rail connections, contributing to P&O Ferries' end-to-end logistics service under DP World and provide daily schedules operated by the ‘Norbank’ vessel. (pb)
