Fashion brand moves to fancy Frihamnen port
Ports of Stockholm and Gant have signed a seven-year tenancy agreement for 4,700 sqm of premises at Frihamnen port in Stockholm, Sweden. The premises are on the ground floor of the Magasin 3 building, one of the historic warehouse buildings at the port with a panoramic view over the water.
Gant is scheduled to move into the new location in summer 2024. Ports of Stockholm is now converting the historic warehouse building into a vibrant and inspiring environment for offices, showrooms, a design studio, and catwalk.
This is a major undertaking, focused on preserving, restoring, and highlighting the unique architectural features, while at the same time developing the industrial character of the warehouse building. Ports of Stockholm has around one-hundred tenants at the Frihamnen port, whose business areas range from shipping and marine innovation to media companies, museums, and restaurants and breweries.
