Facelift for Linz Airport
Hitherto, the airport of Linz in the Austrian federal state of Upper Austria has been known as "blue danube airport linz". Now the airport has been given a new and simplified name: Linz Airport. The management says that the new name is more in keeping with the infrastructure upgrade currently in progress and the new range of modern restaurants now available at the airport. In addition to the name change, the airport has further developed and adapted its original logo in cooperation with the agencies Moodley Group and Loys.
“With our up-to-date strategy we want to help our passengers save time by reducing complex processes and providing quick, simple and comfortable procedures at the airport. Our new market image reflects this aim. The newly designed logo has a clear shape and is short and concise. It offers a clear orientation and shows a dynamic character. It therefore corresponds perfectly to our new strategic focus,” says Norbert Draskovits, managing director of Linz Airport. (mw)
