Express service from Asia to Persian Gulf
On 16 May, the NVOCC Cargogulf is launching a container service linking North Asia to the Persian Gulf with fixed weekly sailings. The North Asia Gulf Express (Nage) will connect the ports of Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen and Da Chan Bay (Pearl River Delta) with markets in the Persian Gulf. China import bookings can be made from all Persian Gulf ports, Colombo, Port Klang and Singapore.
Hans-Henrik Nielsen, CargoGulf’s global development director: “We’re keen to provide the convenience of a one-stop-shop, and the service will also allow us to manage our container equipment better. Equipment is the king in today’s hectic liner world.”
Cargogulf, an ocean cargo carrier with its own fleet of containers established in 1985, serves Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent, as well as the rest of Asia. Nage will complement Cargogulf’s Persian Gulf–Southeast Asia link introduced last year. (cd)
