Expansion in Turkey
Gruber Logistics is opening offices in Izmir and Istanbul. The logistics services provider will use these new locations to process import and export flows from Turkey, offering a large portfolio of transport services ranging from full and less-than-truck loads and groupage cargo to special consignments and air and sea freight.
Gruber is also planning to further expand intermodal short-sea transports and railfreight from Trieste to Germany (Cologne and Duisburg) in the near future. The new offices in Turkey are a further step towards opening up new markets.
Gruber began its expansion programme for the port of Trieste (Italy) in mid 2021. The aim is to develop this port into a gateway to the Adriatic with connections to the Mediterranean and Turkey in particular. (ben)
