Expanding traffic to and from eastern Europe
Freja has established a new direct route between Poland and the south of Norway, featuring regular departures from Lodz in Poland to the south of Norway every Friday and returns to Poland on Tuesday/Wednesday.
The link is routed through the ferry connection between Norway and Sweden to reduce the environmental footprint and costs without compromising quality. Freight to and from Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, and other countries in eastern Europe will pass through Freja’s hub in Lodz before onward transport.
The investment in the new route is part of the haulier’s long-term strategy for developing its traffic to/from eastern Europe, Freja said. (ben)
