Expanding portfolio for silo transports by road
The Rhenus Group acquired the silo transport company, Nederlandse Transport Maatschappij (NTM), at the turn of the year. With this takeover, the international logistics specialist is expanding its expertise in silo transports for free-flowing and powdery goods.
Headquartered in Hardenberg (the Netherlands), NTM has several business sites on the German/Dutch border and offers cross-border services within Europe. The company was founded in the 1970s and joined the German Sievert Logistics Group in 2010.
After the acquisition, NTM will remain a separate company within the Rhenus Group and be headed by managing director Henk Batterink. (ben)
