Expanding MRO services in the Middle East
FL Technics is continuing its Middle Eastern expansion efforts. Its regional subsidiary FL Technics now supports Fly Vaayu, which is based in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) and operates in the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and beyond.
Managing director Arif Alameri (pictured) said that “this move strengthens our presence in a key aviation hub. We’re committed to delivering fast and efficient MRO solutions for Fly Vaayu, one of our key clients.”
The company will maintain Fly Vaayu’s Airbus A320P2F, a rare converted cargo aircraft. By the end of this year, four such aircraft are expected to operate in the region. FL Technics will provide full-time on-board engineering and line maintenance, whilst assisting with aircraft registration.
This partnership follows FL Technics’ recent launch of a line maintenance station at Dubai World Central airport, reinforcing its role as a trusted regional MRO services provider. (ah)
