Event transporter saves costs and carbon
Event Ground Support (EGS) typically delivers technical equipment to concerts, festivals and other entertainment locations.
The UK-based event transport specialist in UK operates a mixed fleet of vehicles from small vans to 15 m trailers. It has now added a mega city dry liner trailer to its fleet.
The Krone vehicle is 11 m long – 2 m longer than conventional 18 or 26t rigids. It has a payload capacity of around 19 t – roughly double that of a conventional rigid truck – and a gross vehicle weight of 30 t. This size allows EGS to cut costs and emissions by putting fewer vehicles on the road, which also reduces loading times. (ben)
