Europa strengthens presence
System Alliance Europe (SAE) is growing, with Europa Road becoming the 53rd member to join the European groupage service network.
The haulier has a network of sales branches in the UK and Ireland to manage goods shipments into Dartford (UK) from domestic depots, from where freight connects with daily, direct services to a partner network of 42 continental hubs.
Its depots handle around 456,000 consignments annually, including an average of 10,000 duty paid (DDP) consignments per day in European traffic. By joining SAE, Europa sees the opportunity to initially become stronger in Germany as well, the haulier said.
SAE handled 3.1 million consignments and around 1.0 million t of groupage freight in 2022. (ben)
