Etihad Cargo plans for summer season
The freighter network of Etihad Cargo, the logistics arm of Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Aviation Group, is growing and will also be expanded to capacity-constrained markets that are wrestling with decreased PAX operations or travel bans in light of the public health emergency caused by Covid-19, offering a strategic lifeline and supporting the continuity of the global trade ecosystem.
Starting in exactly ten days, on 29 March 2020, and running to 28 October, the carrier's summer schedule boasts weekly flights added to Europe, including Amsterdam (3+2 weekly flights), Milan MXP (twice weekly turnaround service) and Paris CDG (new twice weekly), as well as increased freighter frequencies across major gateways in Asia (Hong Kong 2+2, Hanoi 2+1 and Singapore 1+1) and Africa (Johannesburg and Nairobi 1+1).
