Etihad Cargo open to 500+ logistics providers
Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, has agreed a new partnership with Validaide, to co-manage and co-share station facilities for pharmaceuticals and other special cargo with global customers. Validaide is an Amsterdam-based global platform for special handling capabilities of logistics suppliers.
They can now define, share and search special cargo-handling capabilities, with Validaide serving as a central platform to leverage Etihad Cargo's network management power in 70 labelled network stations.
Managing director Martin Drew pointed out that "this move is decisive for the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines. Following the launch of 'PharmaLife', our specialised pharmaceutical and healthcare service, [...] the partnership with Validaide provides additional digital capabilities for global pharmaceuticals customers."
