Etihad Cargo helps horses jump to Hong Kong
Etihad Cargo was once more chosen to transport a special consignment of show jumping horses for the annual Longines Masters of Hong Kong starting today (15 February 2019).
This is the third consecutive year that the carrier has been entrusted by EEM World, a global leading organiser of equestrian events, with the transport of these elite horses. The dedicated charter flight conveyed 68 horses, accompanied by professional grooms and a veterinarian, from Liege to Hong Kong.
Wiam Al Qamshui, business development manager responsible for Etihad's equine product "Sky Stables": "In the five years since this product was introduced, we have become one of the industry’s most experienced specialist equine carriers."
The carrier transported over 2,000 horses for the first time in 2018. (ah)
