Enhancing the Iberian cold chain
Logista has added Carbó Collbatallé, a group based in Barcelona (Spain) to its cold chain in the food sector. The company’s network now encompasses 85 branches coordinated in 17 transit platforms.
Additionally, Logista will leverage a fleet of 1,900 temperature-controlled vehicles and more than 29,000 frozen storage pallets. By integrating Carbó Collbatallé’s consolidated expertise and B2B delivery capacities, Logista further strengthens its presence in Spain and Portugal.
The logistics provider offers food safety guarantees with certifications such as ISO 22000. In combination with its increasingly digitalised and integrated processes, these qualifications will serve as a base for growth in the cold chain sector, the company says. (mk)
