Enhancing air export booking in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi’s ‘Advanced Trade and Logistics Platform‘ is introducing new export rate determination and booking features to boost efficiency and accuracy in air shipments.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, the Maqta Technologies Group (part of AD Ports Group) and Etihad Cargo. With real-time access to Etihad Cargo’s network, logistics providers in Abu Dhabi can now make faster, data-driven booking decisions.
The update also integrates Etihad airport services and streamlines operations for freight forwarders with Cass numbers. Stanislas Brun, vice-president for cargo at Etihad Cargo, said that “by simplifying the air export rate determination and booking process, Etihad Cargo enables customers and partners to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy while ensuring compliance with international standards.” (ah)
