Emissions-free deliveries in the Paris area
‘VIR by JP’ is adding 40 Iveco ‘eDaily’ vehicles to its fleet. The 100% electric light commercial vehicles will help ‘VIR by JP’, a subsidiary of the Jacky Perrenot Group, to navigate France’s urban environmental zones and advance its sustainability efforts.
With the ‘eDaily’ vehicles the transport company is also preparing to meet the European CO₂ emissions regulations for new cars and commercial vehicles, which will come into force in 2035.
‘VIR by JP’ will deploy the new vehicles primarily for delivery services in the Paris region, as well as in Bordeaux and Salon-de-Provence. Each vehicle will cover an average of 150 km per day.
