Emirates to launch Penang service via Singapore
In two months and two days, on 9 April 2020, Emirates will launch a new daily service from Dubai (DXB) to Penang via Singapore. Penang will become Emirates’ second destination in Malaysia after its capital Kuala Lumpur, which the airline currently serves with three flights a day on a route that has been operating since 1996. he flight will be operated by a B777-300ER, offering offer up to 15 t of cargo capacity. Emirates Skycargo, the cargo division of Emirates, which during the last financial year transported close to 23,000 t of cargo on the route to and from Kuala Lumpur (+17%), gives Malaysian businesses the opportunity to increase their trade volumes.
